A Superior Testing Process for Achieving Water-Tight Seals

As demand for water-tight joints surges, there’s a growing need for accurate testing methods that can reliably measure leak rates and provide statistical evidence of water tightness in automotive applications.

 



To ensure verified water tightness for PROFIL® Mechanically Attached Fasteners (MAF), we use a vacuum leak testing method with helium as the test gas. This process not only delivers fast response times but can measure even the smallest leak rates up to 10-9 mbar∙l/s.
